Good tip & reminder 👍
My 1025R has a Lock position to prevent the MMM connection from lowering with the rockshaft lever. One quick reminder. Obviously, the deck adjustment needs to be in the install position for removal of the MMM deck.
Here's the tip. Once you've rolled away from the deck, move the adjustment back to the highest position. Otherwise as you move the rockshaft lever for whatever is on your 3-pt you're also raising and lowering the MMM connection under your feet, potentially engaging it with whatever you're rolling over at the moment.
Correct, but it doesn't do any good if you forget to raise the deck linkage. Ask me how I know...My 1025R has a Lock position to prevent the MMM connection from lowering with the rockshaft lever.
My MMM height adjustment knob that has the Install and Lock positions can't be turned unless the rockshaft lever is in the full up position, so I haven't had your bad experience🤞Correct, but it doesn't do any good if you forget to raise the deck linkage. Ask me how I know...![]()
That is how mine works also. I always have it locked up unless I am mowing. Uhh also I was thinking my 3 PT has no effect on my independant lift. But for everyone else ...Good adviceMy MMM height adjustment knob that has the Install and Lock positions can't be turned unless the rockshaft lever is in the full up position, so I haven't had your bad experience🤞
I've only removed my deck 3 times so far but all 3 times I've forgotten to turn the knob from install to full height. With the independent lift that works off the 3rd Function SCV, I remove the lift hose to reconnect the SCV lines. Go about my business and then later I'll look and the linkage will have drifted all the way down.
