I have a 6x12 Carry-All enclosed trailer with the rear ramp door. The trailer capacity is 3500#, but I am fairly certain that the ramp/door doesn't have that kind of capacity. I am wondering if I can run my 1025r into the trailer (it would fit), or at least get up the ramp to load/unload attachments in the trailer. Or if I can at least run the front wheels part way up the ramp to get the loader into the trailer to load/unload items in the trailer.

Any insight anyone can give me would be helpful...I can't seem to find any info on the ramp capacity.

I did submit a question online to the manufacturer...haven't heard back for a couple days now. I do hope they get back to me. Thought about adding some ramp braces...might try that...

I would be shocked if the ramp is rated for 2k lbs. I've dreamed of an enclosed toy hauler and even a triple axle with 20' deep garage only has 2k rated ramp.

Most small cargo trailers with ramp doors are rated about 1000 lbs. to about 1500 lbs. I have a 7k GVW tandem cargo trailer (7x14 plus v-nose) that I am sure is not rated for more than 1500 lbs on the ramp. I can load my Club Car golf cart without much concern...it weighs just under 1000 lbs with one operator aboard. I would expect that a smaller trailer would be even more lightly built. You can of course support the ramp with blocks or similar during loading and unloading, but the ramp itself will be skinned with thin plywood and that has strength limits as well... I have a 7x14 tandem enclosed trailer with a "heavy duty" rear ramp door and it is rated between 1,000 and 1,500 lbs. I would not run my 1025 up on it. I was thinking of using 2x6 or maybe a little wider to help span the load if I ever use this trailer for my tractor. I would not mount them to the door/ramp. I would keep them as detached. I would most likely allow the lower end of the 2x to contact the ground and the upper end to rest directly on the trailer to keep more load off the door/ramp. I may need to attach something to the 2x on the upper end to accomplish this. I have not looked into it that far as I have other trailers I normally used for my tractor.

Like Chucky said, I didn't blink when I drove my riding lawn mower up the ramp. Or a small ATV. But I just have this vision of a you-tube worthy sort of event if I try to run my 1025 up. But I don't need to get the whole tractor up the ramp...just get the front wheels up enough to get the loader into the trailer to get a hook on things, and then try not to lift much weight on the loader until I get the front wheels off the ramp.

Maybe I should be asking differently...how should I go about loading a rotary cutter into and out of the trailer? It seems a little too heavy for a couple guys to horse it up and down the ramp...

Or maybe I should just sell/trade it for a good stout flatbed trailer that will handle the tractor and an attachment or two...
