GOOD afternoon I purchased an original tractor cab from a x700 and modified it to go onto my 455 that I have at work.
IM sure it is going to be a huge improvement when snow blowing .
I have a question about the air intake for the radiator it pulls from the cowl below the dash and steering wheel so if I had a heater that air would be sucked right out would it not ??????
thanks in advance

Yep , it sure will and on very cold days or nights the cab was far better than setting out in the cold but the cold air does it sucked in the cab.

Some have turned the radiator fan blades around , just have to remember to turn it back around come summer.

When I had the JD425 or SIL father JD445 with a metal cab Have thought about maybe closing off the grill below the steering wheel. Not sure if it keep a lot of the cold air coming in the cab.:dunno::dunno:

Kubota BX works the same way. Curtis cab supplies some sort of baffles to install so it draws the air from below instead of from inside the cab. My friend has one but never looked at it to see exactly how they did it
