Well dern it. I just noticed I have a small leak at the right rear axle on my 3039R. The fluid seems to be coming from the top of the shaft and housing and running down and dripping onto the wheel occasionally. Here are a few photos. I'm about ready to do my 400 hour service so it's as good a time as any to tackle this leak. I wonder if this is what the wheel spacers were doing to the 3 series before JD advised to not put spacers on the 3 series?

Might I be the first to experience this? After doing a little interweb searching, it looks like this might be quite a job. Time to invest in a tech manual too.

Yours is not the first.

Out of warranty?

If so, it's not too big of a job. A guy down the road from me replaced the axle seal on his 3046. He and his SIL performed the job in one day.

Thanks Fly, she's definitely out of warranty, 2014. I bought used. At least your news sounds encouraging.
