Anyone recognize this beast? It was given to me by my neighbor but neither of us know the brand. As you can tell by the bucket under it I need to fix the shaft seals but don't know where to start. Thanks, Job

Old oil Leaking Clunker model 1. serial# 0000001

Or better known as the old hefty SOB 馃

I wish I could help with the ID. But that thing was built for heavy work.

I wouldn't get too concerned with identifying it. It doesn't look like anything new... with new being anything made after 1970!... so parts are probably not available. I'd start with a water hose to remove anything loose and then probably a case of your favorite penetrating oil! Start soaking bolts and try to remove in about 2-3 days. Seals can be found online knowing OD, ID, thickness and lip configuration. There may even be numbers on old seals! I'd replace bearings too. Don't overlook pto gearbox. Bob
