RT-1149 Question / Problem

This is a brand new tiller and I haven't had time to use it yet but after connecting it to my 1025r I found that the far right tine (looking from the back) is going to slam into the skid if I turn it on. Is this assembled correctly? I lowered the skid to its lowest setting but even then tine should not be over the skid. My bad for not looking it over closer before I brought it home but I'd have to load it all back up and make an hour drive to take it back for repair. If it is something I can do I would do it. Thanks for any help on this.
