I have purchaced and pictured the boots available from Deere. Well plural because of two sides, The one near the center is a buy the whole thing or be creative. It is for 5410 but I bet not specific to that. There are perhaps 2 to 3 inches of rod which doesn't go into the cylinder and perhaps half a foot of substance before the tie rod end so I could see using a propely sized boot for a motorcycle fork or adapt some portion of the boot for a front wheel drive automobile constant velocity joint. There is probably a better choice out there. I can't be the only person to have this issue.

It seems that the available boot will/can be made to work. Strange, service manager a suggested I was too cheap to buy two new $175 or so parts (had lead me to believe they could install all boots earlier before I had tractor transported for some other issue) and parts guy b told me I would have to buy the whole thing. actually I was able to get quite a bit of grease in the tie rod end, not sure about the other one but both ball type joints on mine were in excellent condition. Just have to carefully cut and pry off the sheet metal part and I couldn't re use the small snap type ring and used wire. It is pretty common I noticed a used similar model with the same issue for sale at a dealer lately.
