Anyone know if serial number plates are still obtainable for a JD No. 8 sickle mower?

If you are looking for an original plate, I suggest contacting some salvage yards. If you are lucky you might find a No.8 there and can remove the plate. Original plates (blank) are NLA but your dealer may be able to obtain an aluminum foil replacement.
