I got one of Ken's extended hooks, and it makes it so much easier to connect to my implements, especially the box blade and landscape rake. But due to the limited lift of the series 1 3 point, I can't get them quite as far off the ground as I would like to. Does anybody have a recommendation on a shorter link? The only one that I have found is at agrisupply: (https://www.agrisupply.com/top-link-pin-13-cat-1/p/105556/. The listing says that it shortens to 17.5", which is about right.

Can anybody comment on this link, or suggest an alternative?

Thanks

I did that too, I really love the hook for ease of hook ups but I did put a shorter top link on. The body on the JD one is 16", I bought one from Agri Supply that is 14 1/2" and it makes for a perfect combination. I will add though, that the only implement that gave me trouble was the rotary cutter, however, I have found that I just leave it on and it works well with all of my implements.

So, the next question is can we purchase longer draft arms to correct the limited cat 1 issue? Ok you'd loose some lift capacity, and may be close on some pto shafts, but you'd still have the original. Now if there are some that would fit correctly is the next question.

I don't think it is that simple. If the 1-series 3PH could be full Cat-1 just by using different draft arms JD would never have made it with Limited Cat-1. Lower draft arms tend to be $$$.

Lots of guys have had success with adding the second adjustable lift link on the other side.

The solution to lift height would be the old style lift links with multiple holes for multiple max lift heights.
I cant figure out why they went away from that, but I think it would have "fixed" most of the issues 1025/new 2025 owners have had with the 3-point lift height.
Trouble is, those are a LOT more expensive for us to purchase vs the second adjustable link, and Im not sure the ones off the older 2025 will fit on the new one.

Stock is about 19.5 inches.

Did you get this one that is listed for a Kubota? (Not that the Kubota association matters, just confirming before I place my order.)
