The most common load for pickup trucks there is.

Did someone mention white Ford work trucks? I posted a pic of my '03 F-350 shortly after I bought it in October, but here it is actually working.

First pic shows unloading a log splitter I bought a couple days ago. Second pic is loading 2 of my Gravelys to take them to the repair shop.

The funny thing is that I couldn't have put either one of these loads in my former 2021 F-250 with the 6'9" bed. I would have had to use .y utility trailer.

I really like the drop down sides on this truck. Didn't realize that they were an option on a truck like this. I just wish there was an easier way to get in the bed without having to haul that ladder with me.

That's awesome! I think this is the first time I've seen that white part of the truck..

And this is exactly why I bought a car hauler trailer this time instead of a utility trailer - ability to load from the side with the loader.

2021 Ford F150 with 3.0 PowerStroke. View attachment 890520
How do you like it. I loved the idea of it. Just didn’t like the fact that it was only available in the higher trims. Not to mention for a little more you could have a 6.7 power stroke in a 250.

I too briefly considered getting the little F150 power stroke . But with Ford not offering it on the lower trim levels or the super cab I chose to stick with a super duty. I don’t really need a 3/4 ton but I do need the max tow on a F150 . Once you add that to a 150 the 250 seems like a better buy.

I like the truck just fine since I live out in country on unpaved roads I bought a XLT which I consider a work truck. The truck usually spends the whole winter coated in snow or mud depending on weather. I like the truck just fine no real problems except all the Ford recalls, but that out of my hands.

Oh yea. How do you think I knew about the delete? Punk thought he was gonna squeeze one out on me but not Daddy. All I heard was that obnoxious sounding thing wailing away while pulled ahead and then didn’t hear anymore. Afterwards he rode real close behind me with his led wannabe upgrade package in my mirrors cuz he can’t adjust them due to his leveling kit brought his front end up too high. You know the type. Disruptive jackass who thinks he can bully everyone around in traffic but then he found someone who actually knows how to drive. Don’t blame him really. There’s some real stupid out there on the road these days. He just didn’t expect me. So, instead of having some curtesy and going with the flow, he decided to get greedy and now he sucked my exhaust 8 miles.

BTW I ain’t getting no 22-25 on my Super duty. More like 15. Can’t blame a guy for wanting more mpg in a smaller package. The newer F150’s are nice trucks and a lot more comfortable than a SD. Plus that 10 speed

2014 is about the worst of the HD diesel pickups. They are about wk heavier than the first ones. But not more power except I think the 7.7 was out then. He probably only deleted it. All that does is make it illegal. You need major other changes to increase the power. Different pump, injectors, and turbo. And that ain't cheap. I did it on mine. Other than the pump. Because the earlier ones came with the better CP3 pump already.

I really don’t consider the XLT to be a work truck trim. This is the trim that My last to trucks have been. My dad and brother both have xlt s too.

My current truck is a F359 xlt premium, Tremor. It has navigation, the full camera package and the pto trailer back up. And the power folding mirrors, and full center console. I could do without the cameras , navigation and trailer back up BS. As I seldom use any of those. Now that I have the front locker I wouldn’t want to be without it. The Tremor does much better on the forest roads than my 2016 FX4 did.

At work they buy very basic XL trucks. Most of those don’t have power windows or seats. Those are work trucks.

Im actually thinking of going with a XL with the sxt package with my next truck. One of my coworkers bought one of those. I rode in it not long ago. It seemed to be plenty fancy.

Like your personal Boss’s edition “work truck?”

😆

Sorry for the late comebacks. We just got our power back on. The wind storm we had on Friday was crazy.

Funny you mentioned that model. Got an email saying it's scheduled to be built this week. It'll still be a work truck. Just a fancy one.
