But dish soap will cut through any wax on your paint if it gets on it.
Not sure why that would matter. i can’t see it being any worse than what ever is being used to keep the store bought stuff from freezing.

I've been using it for at least twenty years. I only use about a teaspoon of dish soap to gallon and in winter i add alcohol if I'm going to be in cold country.

Picked up a dually today in GA. Great price with only 20k miles. XLT. May put a flatbed on it and keep the bed for resale value.

Nice truck Big!
Black??? That's a career in itself...
I went from a 13 to a 17 and the extra torque from 800 to 925 ft lbs was definitely noticeable.
Couldn't imagine getting a new one with 1050 and the ten speed.

I have a 13, 15, and this new dually is a 17. Going to sell the 15 next week. Like you said, its a very noticeable difference

Yes, all 6.7 but torque is different between the 15 and 17

I've been thinking of getting one but i see no need for a larger engine would prefer one with better mpg. The super duty needs a smaller diesl engine option. How often do you need all that extra power?

I use it for towing either one of my two 16' enclosed work trailers or my 16' gooseneck equipment trailer. I tow probably 75 percent of the time. They are all work trucks

Large trucks and good mpg don't mix. I've come to realize that. I get 10-12 mpg towing my trailers. 17-19mpg empty. Depends on how fast I need to get there

Then i can see why you would enjoy the peace of mind of all those cubes especially since you can charge fuel costs to your customers.
But, wouldn't you prefer better mpg rather than house moving power? I've towed 13-15k with mine in cc and it does just fine. I pick up and deliver 55 gallon drums of honey on occasion and they weigh in at a minimum of 700lb each. Haul tractors and boats also up to 29ft.
I grant you the feel of the power is addicting but so is passing fuel stops. The trend now seems to be in the direction of smaller ci engines. I read someplace of a 1 liter engine for the F150.....who would buy it?

I could tow pretty much everything I have with the 6. something gas motor that is standard but I would likely be close to or maxing out it's capacity. I like using only 50-70 percent of the capacity of the diesel. I have close to 200k on the 13 and 220k on the 15 and they both still run great.

While the diesel will definitely tow better, I do just fine with my 6.2L gasser towing my 31ft gooseneck tandem dually deckover. GCVW is 29,800#, but I am only licensed for 24,000# which is enough to cover my towing needs when I usually do not gross over 22,000#. Empty combined weight is 14,000#. I do not tow very often. If I did, I would most likely go for the diesel. Maintenance is much more expensive for a diesel as is diesel fuel.
