I thought I read somewhere in my travels that the rear wheels on my 425 can be spaced narrower or wider. From looking at it right now, they seem to be set in the wider stance, as the rear wheels stick out past the front wheels and they seem to sit out away from the frame and tranny when looking at them from the back of the tractor. I'm thinking of turning them around for the summer, as I could really use a bit more compactness when mowing around the house. I'm not concerned with rolling the tractor, as my land is fairly flat. Can anyone confirm if I can do this? I would have to remove the wheel weights first, but it shouldn't be difficult if I put a jack under the middle of the transmission.
