Our JD 2010 won't start. New plugs, new rotor, (electronic igination) It fires and sounds like it's going to run but as soon as you let go of the key it stops. Three days ago it started 3 times instantly then the fourth time nothing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just a guess but it sounds like it might be getting power to the coil on the start circuit off of the key but not at the run position. It might have a 12v wire on the start circuit and a 6v wire/resistance wire on the run circuit that is bad.
