Anyone ever see or know where to get or have any pictures of a Steel Lug Cover.

I have steel rear tires with lugs and want to drive it on my driveway.
I have seen steel bands or road bands just pics online - no clue where to get some.

I have been trying to come up with a cover of some sort that I can make or buy- resonably priced.

I want to leave the lugs on for looks.

Thanks for your time...

You might want to check out Johnnypopper.com, Rummy's antique 2 cylinder John Deere tractor page You may or may not have to register to see complete posts just as we do here. There is a recent thread on there about bands for a 37 B, with some pictures. There are also replacement rubber lugs for some wheels available, but are expensive as you might suspect. I'll try to find that info and the supplier if you're interested.

Something to think about with steel road bands is the lack of traction. They can be difficult to load the tractor using ramps and if pulling a parade float or something on a hard surface with hills, it can be a hazard. Just to move around on a flat driveway, not a problem. Some cover the bands with tire treads, which probably is well worth the effort.
Have fun with the tractor!
