Picked up some Toyota steel wheels (same size as OEM alloys) and found a paint shop in NY that matched Toyota 1H5 Cement. Painted steel wheels (rattle can) to give them a military look. OEM tires (Goodyear DuraTrac) mounted and balanced and they ride really nice. Further more, now my Taco looks different than the other million Tacos running around here.

I've run 'steelies' on the 3 4X4 trucks I've owned, including my 3/4 ton Chev. Never had any issues. When they pulled the truck out of the service bay at the tire shop, the tech asked me if everything was ok. I said "sure, it just turned out really nice". I must of had that 'damn skippy' look on my face! Thanks for the compliment.
