Didn't like having to step up so high to reach the operators platform on my 1025, and didn't like the idea of having to step on the mower deck either, so I modified a drop down truck step, and mounted it to the backhoe sub frame.
It makes it much easier for this old man to get on and off the tractor now.

Where did you buy the fold down truck step?

I bought a couple of 'em off eBay ...

I removed the hinge and bolt mount, and welded the step to a piece of steel flat stock.

Now if I can just figure out how to do that, I'll be all set … :)
I saved the picture to my desktop, opened it, turned it, then saved it. Keep in mind icon view of the picture will appear turned the wrong way, right click the picture and rotate it.

I tried doing just that yesterday, but the pictures still went to the forum upside down ... Think its got something to do with the fact I was using an iPad to take the pictures with ... :banghead:
