Hello everyone.

New to the sub compact world. Waiting for my new 1026r to get here. I know this might be a boring question but I am sure I will have many more...

Along with the tractor I will be getting the FEL, Mower and Box Blade. I am not 100 percent confident if I can fit all this stuff indoors out of the weather. I guess I could, but I like my space in my barn to be able to move around and work on things. Would something like the box blade be harmful to store outdoors? Was just wondering how everyone else with even more attachments than me handle the storage of their attachments or am I the only moron that gets all the attachments without having sufficient storage?

Welcome to GTT!

You are not the only one who stores items outside. I have a rear blade that has never been inside. I try to keep items with bearings and gear boxes inside. Some keep everything outside and throw a cover over the stuff.

If you do keep things outside, grease things up and spray the wear parts with some sort of oil once and a while.

No, you are not a moron. I can fit all of my stuff and then some in my barn. But my barn was built for storing animals, not tractor attachments. This means that to get my brush hog, I need to hook up and move my tiller first...UGH! But they are all under cover. I wouldn't worry too much if I had to keep something like a box blade outside. The paint and rust would be the biggest concerns and you could cover it with a tarp or similar. Don't sweat this, after all, you have a sweet tractor on the way!:thumbup1gif:
