Found this beast on cl.

Was hoping it was the smaller of the 2 options....Not

Its ginormous...will probly blow the gravel clean off the driveway but oh well.

Purpose......blow leaves in the fall off my 1/2 mile driveway.
Its steep and takes many many passes with a back pak blower.....I'm done with that @59
This should do the job bj in 2 passes so said the previous owner.
Was used to maintain GC fairways...lots of hours ..New main bearings..
USA made ,rough yet reliable.

lists for 5400ish........mine @ $ 750

I may have bought too big but specs say 30hp...I'm @ 33...Its a monster.

Who knows ..it may blow snow too:bigbeer:

It is hoped that the hurricane will die down to gale force winds by the time it reaches Canada

Finally made some progress.

Got it moved to the rear of the tilt bed.

This thing needs a Lifting Hook and will get one soon. I've got many cranes and hoists scattered cabout the acreage but there is no good/safe way to pluck this thing off the trailer.

Plan is to find an area where the rear of trailer meets the ground....not hard up on this horrible hill and roll it off the last couple feet of trailer. Got the pins (3 point) reversed and hoping the I match will at least grab the bottom 2 pins. I can work around the top not fitting. Left a tidbit of frustration in the Senior moment thread...:banghead:

Found the over run adapter I've been saving for the last 20 years...Its a must with this beast.

New world problem...Driveline is too long. Before you say thats easy , It ain't. Can't shorten the female side without cutting and welding. Its an odd driveshaft and the "mating " section is only 4" long welded onto 10" of tube.
Its the tube part/section that needs shortened. Though about swapping drivelines but where it hooks to bj blower is a huge round /keyed shaft thats way different than all my other smaller yet normal driveline parts.

Oh well... It will happen ,I have the tools to rearrange things.

On the Brighter side...All Dads Cancer tests came back NEGATIVE yesterday...so basicly I'm loving life.:bigbeer:

Now THAT is a blower!

At what you paid, a little PTO shaft project isn't gonna put you over budget.

You are gonna have to post a video of that beast in action. Just be careful you don't blow the cameraman into the next county.

Well , I we my nephew & I got it hooked up.

Had to reverse one pin & got the I match to grab the bottom pins...In otherwerds they both point the same way.
Goofy yes but it helped offset it to the left which is perfect. Had to chain the top of I match to top of BJ the blower..all good. Mounted over run adapter , greased it .kicked the tires and went for it. Well actually tryed it with out over run....To harsh on pto brake..Good news is pto brake works but the flywheel in bj is massive & I can't afford to F up my pto brake. With the I match the drive line length is just barly good. Can't raise the unit fully but there is no need to.

So I sent some video to my host and perhaps He ( my hero rtgt) can /may post it later. IDK anything about how to do that and the nephew helped film. Prepare to twist your neck as He is clearly not a photographer..Hey we tryed:cheers:
Was running low rpm as there is 1 bad cap on 1 u joint......Its incredible...vidio is a dissappointment as later I ramped it up to mach 3 and the SHTF...this beast moves some material...Its a keeper:yahoo:
