Some one is going to have to explain to this old man how to post photos so I can show ya'll our new to us 10 acres.
We will most likely have to move out of the house we are in unless timing is perfect.
I need the equity we have here to modify and add to the 1800 sq ft new and never used Morton barn
I am told construction, running gas & water lines etc will take four months.... so the next great adventure begins.
Yes on living in the in the big red barn. The front view with the big garage door faces north. We will have the contractor add phase 1 before we move in which will make a total of 2400-2600 sq ft. that will be a smaller span but with a peaked roof (but lower) and phase 2 would be a duplicate of the existing building. The addition will house the master bedroom/bath and a huge master closet to hang clothes we haven't seen in a while - donate what's surplus. Plus a master bath and my office in the northwest corner (same side as the big door. I am thinking of leaving the big garage door and as we expand westward with the complex that becomes our garage for our cars & trucks - as long as we end up with 3500 to 4000 square feet in addition to the existing building - eventually.
A bridge over the creek - what a brilliant idea! That will be incorporated into the planning probably mostly built by me.
That would definitely add character to that area.

The previous owner has been letting the neighbor graze his two horses and a goat herd onto the property to keep the grass down. The owner prior to 2019 bred miniature horses/ponies.
There had been a double wide in front of the garage, but that was removed when the horse breeder left. That leaves us the place and all utillities present to replace that for my sister-in-law when i can convince her to come out from GA permanently.
Taxes will be approximately 25% of what we are paying on this house in the HOA. Also will apply for tax exemption for ranch supplies. I will have our attorney form a sub chapter S for the ranch. The Commander and Chief and I will own that. Have to get cracking on that since we will close in a few weeks as soon as the paper is done.
I forgot I had these in my phone. Took them in a truck stop right after I purchased the trailer. It’s identical to the one I had. It has ramps that are stored in a side compartment at the rear on the passenger side. Heavy - thinking I need aluminum. Something for later.
Sorry. Had to get a photo of the new 2021 Ford - 3.5 liter twin turbo 400 HP zero to sixty… well I don’t want to tell the Commander in Chief! 😎

I have now had three of those power plants and I will not go back to a V 8 except in a hot car/truck.
Closing Friday. Don't have a time yet but hoping all goes "according to plan" (just finished another book on WW2 - this one on Monty. For the history buffs on here.......
John from Sooner Lock & Key using a Dewalt industrial strength dremel type tool to eliminate the small plunger well err plunging with the larger plunger when the wind slammed the door shut - jammed both in the rectangular strike plate opening only meant for the larger of the two…and I couldn’t open the door. Both doors were jammed.
All fixed now 👍
