I am not happy with my $39x.00 Cox monthly bills so considering Eastern Electric Coop internet service - 1 gig/minute download speed. Since I work as an expert witness I download some pretty big files from time to time. We still will need TV & streaming. So that's up in the air.....

Turbos don't spin all the time...only when needed. At the speed I was going no need for turbos.

So moved the first trailer load today.

Just left the ranch and my concrete guy. Made a deal and two to four weeks from now the hay barn will have the dirt floor flattened with his skid steer. ....rebar and 4" of concrete on the floor. Need a back door to secure it and we have our own storage unit. Any surplus while we are transitioning will go in rented conex containers or pods.
Already have the general contractor otj to install a septic tank and connect the water to the building!
We are rolling!

Forgot. Buildings all have electricity, lights etc. The main barndo has two industrial strength mini splits that work well ....

Found out from a neighbor today that dish network is available in our neighborhood. So that's what we will do for TV.

Well two to four weeks for my concrete guy turned into less than 24 hours. He texted me early this morning and said he would be at the ranch in 30 minutes. So put my boots on and hustled to the ranch with the pick up, Pace enclosed trailer and an old man's full load. He beat me there anyway. Punch line? When my phone recharges .....I will post photos and videos. Concrete guy is Antonio. He brought his skid steer and dug out the dirt floor in the barn including digging a ditch by hand for a drain. I plan on running the drain to the pond when I buy a used back hoe (whenever that might be) so I can use a hose to wash out the building of needed.
Put 2.7 hours on the John Deere.

Curious what your DISH will be.

Ours just went to $ 150.......was 99 a few years ago......No changes and not much for channels.
We pay for NO xtras...probly got some package idk...its been toooo long ago

At one time you could get every channel they offer for life for 110 or ss...I forget.

Its a rip off at best......We have no option for Cable...driveway is too long.

Recently got netflix which helped and is free for...well till its not legal anymore in USA.

Bummer with that is No news channels........Not that the news is werth watching..just sayN

And no espn ...all I care about is racing stuff...wife likes the football of which 99% is on ABC ,NBC or that other c

$392 for Cox A month makes Dish look good. Had Direct TV at our home in Skiatook and will not go back with them. Add in Eastern Electric Coop internet 1 GB / minute @ $89. / month puts me way ahead. Can't wait.

It might be too late for you. But have you considered putting any water lines under the new concrete? Even just putting in some oversize flex line would allow you to run the water line in later.

Water lines will all be laid in before concrete goes in for phase 2. Phase 1 is to make the existing structure (Big Red Barn) as livable as possible as fast as possible so we can move and get our equity out of this HOA house.

Don’t want radiant heat (that’s me and you can discuss that with the C in C at your peril). Once funds allow will install a gas furnace(s). General contractor is investigating whether the gas company will run the line with “T’s” for the various buildings that exist and at least two more projected…a new shop/three or more bay garage just behind the existing safe room. Or I have to pay to run the line. And a bunk house for invited and uninvited guests of the two legged kind (think bunk house like Yellowstone). Not trying to be curt. Radiant just not an option.
