It doesn't look like it has a cage. We lost a farmer here a few years ago when he had the boom up and was reaching outside of the cockpit under the boom when his body leaned on the hydraulics lowering the boom across his body. Tragic. Just a reminder, and one of the reasons they now all come with cages.

We had an old IH with no ROPS
There certainly are some conveniences that go with not having many of the modern safety features.

I like the freedom of no cage but hesitate and think about every move for safety reasons.

That's why I like old equipment .... it forces people to learn safe operation habits.
