I thought I was decided on what brand to purchase but having second thoughts. Somewhat because of availability and also what can each system do.

Okay, Artillian isn't sure when theirs will be available and I have a lot to do now and ordered on 9/4 and possibly available on 9/24. Also can you share what the available options offer? I liked Artillian for the Stump Bucket and 2" receiver option. What do others offer? What brand has the most options?

Also what are price differences?

If you get Frontier ap10's or ap11's you can probably get them from your John Deere dealer and they might have them in stock. They are good units.

Pallet forks are pallet forks. The lighter the better (more capacity) Artillian's are on the lower end of weight and the frame is a building block for other options (Grapple, plow) . If those other options are something that you might want, might be worth waiting. If those options are not of interest, I'd look at the deere (Frontier) products. Good luck.

, also offers reasonably priced forks for JDQA with free shipping. I bought my bucket teeth from them and picked it up at their facility and saved a few dollars from the “free shipping” price.

I have a set of 42” Frontier (AP10F) on my 2032R and have been very happy with them. Ordered them direct from my dealer and they were around $600 IIRC. I also looked at the Artillian’s but found it tough to justify the additional $$$ for my usage. Titan is another brand that is popular with some folks.

If you want to look into forks you’re looking for the lifting capacity of your machine and the weight of the forks will decrease your load. Get ones that are a lightweight construction but tough enough to do the job. 2” receivers and stump buckets should be secondary to the primary function of the forks which is to lift heavy things. That said I have read good things about Artillian if you got the cabbage to shell out. As far as availability your dealer most likely carries Frontier forks which are basic but well built and lightweight.
I have the Frontier 42” AP10F and they weigh 200 pounds. They were 600 early last year. They have been good forks and I have no qualms except the frame around the fork notches has gotten a little dog eared from heavy loads swaying. Nothing structural and they’re still very functional.

I got a set of 4' forks made by a local company (Tri-L), they are carried by the local Deere and CNH dealers as prices are good and lead times are a few days. Mine will fit both my 500 carrier and the 100-400 carrier but being nearly 400 lbs, they are really only for 400 and 500 series loaders.

Out of curiosity I checked their website for current pricing. Those are now almost $625 for 42” forks and low profile fork frame!
That’s a lot of money for Chinese forks.

This is what I paid a couple months ago.. my neighbor got his last year for 400.. the current state of everything prices are going up.. wait another year they will double.. my dealer didn’t have any forks company wide when I bought my tractor in June.. I’m very happy with the titan forks

Possibly imports have gone up more than US made products due to the increases in shipping costs. The Express Steel forks I linked to are showing $700 shipped for 42” forks. They are made just south of Indianapolis, Indiana.

That is right in line with the going rate in my area as well for standard ~4000 lb capacity skid loader or utility tractor forks. The Frontier ones were actually more expensive than the locally made ones, they wanted about a grand for the Frontier ones and $900 for the locally made ones (which actually appear to be nicer.) I know the manufacturer that made my forks also makes a lighter (2000 lb capacity) version for the Deere 100-400 carrier that has 42" forks and weighs 225 pounds, I believe they wanted about $750 for them if I remember correctly.

I have had TITAN 42" forks with backrest for along time. They are on my loader arms all the time. Since 2016 i have used my bucket only one time. very happy with Titan

I've got the Titan 36" without headache rack (375 shipped, I think) and they've been great, they arrived quickly and have held up just fine aside from some paint chipping. If I were doing it again (or now, since the Frontier forks weren't an option at the time) it would be hard to not consider the Titan's at the previous price point. However since getting them I've added a quicktach plow and the 3rd function outlets so the Artillian platform would desirable, but overall I still think it's too much last time I priced it out. The only unique positive would be the loader mounted plow option, but the forks, grapple and loader mounted plow option versus getting all three from JD/Frontier are likely pretty darn close in price, if not cheaper, when factoring in the cost of the JD plow, quicktach, angling cylinder, etc.

I bought Artillians from Chris at his house. I live close so free shipping. My #1 consideration was weight and I will say I have maxed out lifting ability of the tractor countless times, probably in the hundreds, so if moving a lot of weight is in your future then you should seriously consider starting out weight. With all the options the Artillian frame sold me and I can say it will take whatever you try and make it do. Fork length is up to you.
