So...I have settled on the County Line 4 ft tiller for my 1025r. I like that its reversable, gear drive, HEAVY, new, 6 tines, and a LOT less money than the green one. The local TSC doesnt have one in stock and thats ok. Of all the negative reviews of it, the only thing consistant was people saying that they appeared rusty after sitting in the TSC yard for months. The manager there told me to get a raincheck so they would order it, then I would pay for it when it gets in stock. She said it could be a couple weeks to a month, whenever they get enough orders for a truckload from Tarter. Thats fine since I cant use it til April or May anyway. With their Neighbors Club discount it appears it will be 10% off, possibly capped at $100, but thats still a decent discount. The bad news is that I was holding back. With all the sales TSC is having in December I was waiting to see implements come up on sale. Ive been checking their web page daily. Unfortunately over the weekend when I checked on it the price for the 4 ft went UP $100. I immediately ran in to the store thinking I could get ahead of their updated info but no luck. Now itll be $1499. I went ahead and ordered it anyway. Ive checked out the owners manual on line. The process for flipping the gear box to reverse rotation doesnt look too bad and would probably be easier to do before assembling so I think I would do that before the final assembly and adding oil. I guess itll end up ready to go several months before the snow is gone but better than waiting for it when I need it
