If ownership has never been transferred to a buyer (still belongs to Deere/dealer), I would consider it new, and hours accumulated would make it a demonstrator. If ownership has been transferred from the dealer, it would be a used machine, even with only a few hours on it. If it's a demo, chances are the use has been controlled and is known. If you get a used machine, that has been owned by some unknown person, who knows what has been done with it or to it that may not be obvious, including maintenance or the lack of it.
