I know the owner of Skid-Lift / Anderson Industries.
He grew up on a farm just west of here.

Edit: I was mistaken, Skid-Lift is made by Anvil, not Anderson industries. Sorry.

Looks a hell of alot safer than the man lift on the front forks.

True, but a little out of reach for the average homeowner. We didn't see much of the lift in the video. I was hoping we'd see how it hooked up, unhooked and how it operated in scenarios like we'd want to use it.
It was used for a platform (pun intended) for commercials for other products IMO.

I believe Tim has said (in the man-lift thread) that the lift would be reviewed at a later time.

I would buy one if I had a quick $12,000 dollars.

The title was a bit misleading then. "Tractor Scissor Lift Man Lift".

Not sure why you are so negative on our videos.
The new scissor lift was clearly the star of this episode. ..and the title of the video says “Removing the Original Cab for Spring”

Had we devoted an episode to discussing the details of the lift, you would have complained that we don’t actually DO anything in our videos.

I’m sorry that our productions are not up to your standards. We are happy to refund your ticket price.

12 grand? Good grief. At least now I don't have to look it up or waste time on his videos about it.

Thanks For the defense, Mark.

We’ll have the lift for a year (minimum). We’ll show it in a variety of uses as we find suitable projects.

Regarding connectivity, it is quick hitch compatible.
I mentioned that we have it connected to the Power Beyond. You can connect to a regular outlet assuming you have a detent valve, or you can tie the valve lever forward or backward.

I think it is 10-11k or so. About the same as any other scissor lift.

And you will get many places with a skidsteer that you wouldn't with a manlift.
Every tool has it's place, this one included.

True... but around here you could rent a man lift 50+ times and still not have the cost of the tractor scissor lift.

So the title is changed now? I quoted the original title. Don't assess me so quickly. I was interested in this lift as I had told my son in law about this lift when I first saw it. My SIL owns a roofing, siding and gutter installation company and has a tractor which could handle this lift. That was the reason I watched the video.
Happy Easter

Same thing can be said for renting a mini ex and buying a backhoe, but people still defend the backhoe purchase.

I like this. A slab sizzor is the same price but unless you have a nearly level surface with good traction you have to move to an Rough Terrain Sizzor and they cost a boat load. This is a great balance, you can get it places only a rough terrai unit could go and the tractor is an awesome balance for stability.

It seems though that unless the terrain is perfectly flat the tractor is going to tilt one way or the other and cause the platform to lean accordingly.

The platform has adjustable legs.

The platform has adjustable legs.
If it is attached to the 3PH and the tractor is leaning to one side or the other how would it compensate since both 3PH lower arms need to move in unison? Just curious.
