I'm going to have to side with Herminator and say I watch mainly the videos that interest me. As an example, ground working implements aren't really something I work with, besides the backhoe, so tillers, plows, etc don't get many of my views. That being said, I actually enjoy Tim's videos that use these unique implements. Since I'm always looking for better ways to do things, seeing the various tools available on the market is very useful to me. In the case of the scissor lift, that was a video I was really looking forward to, even though it wasn't a full review. And I am still wanting to see a full highlight on it. Given what I've seen of it, I'd say Tim saved me money because of his real world presentation, I can see it will not serve all my needs. Without his review, I would be left guessing whether it was something for me or not. I'd rather see a real person using a product like this, not some paid salesman who just wants my money. In contrast, the Maschio offset flail mower is seriously on my to buy list. Never heard of it before Tim showcased it, and I'm so glad he did.
The element I'm trying to point out here is Tim is a guy who is trying to make content that appeals to a large audience. I understand he's moved up from his origins with doing basic house chores to more advanced tasks. But we all have to move up and on if we want to better ourselves. Balance is the key here, especially when operating in the interests of public entertainment. Some of us want to watch videos of digging up sidewalks, others want to see massive leaf plows. There's too many different options, but I still think he's doing a good job.
