Traded my Quick hitch for the Pats quick Hitch system

Last week I made the choice to swap from my quick hitch to the Pats quick hitch arms. I have a couple of attachments that didnt work the best with the quick hitch and I got tired of using adapters with them. I knew the Pats system would work better for me but wasnt sure about having to get off and hook up the top link. Hands down this is way better. Its takes less than 5 mins to get off and hook the top link up and on any pto implement you have to get off and hook it up anyway. Only time its going to be a disadvantage is for the box blade because I wouldnt have had to get off to hook it up with the QH. Using the top link over a quick hitch top hook is a much better fit for my bush hog and flail mower. Especially the flail since its not QH compatible. Other than needing to adjust the pats arms some because they cocked sideways I think Im going to love them!

I love my Pat’s EZ Hitch! I had a quick hitch for an afternoon and then returned it. Between the need for bushings on every implement and the top link not working without modifying all my older attachments it just didn’t seem like the best solution to me. Even the PHD goes on easy with Pat’s.

Plus the extra room to be able to get in there, and couple the PTO. No more big bulky, tube frame in your way.

I had pat's on my 2720 for quite a few years and missed them until I purchased a set of these for a 3046r since they work great with my backhoe also.

What about adjusting the side sway turnbuckles? Do you just leave them loose?
I too replaced my JD quick hitch and got a set of PATS. Don’t miss the QH at all!!

Did you get these from Deere?

They're BLV10141:

EDIT: Maybe. Maybe not:

The thread is pretty timely. I received a set of Pat's yesterday because I thought I could make it work with my backhoe. Turns out I can, but only if I dust off CAD and the plasma.

The easier solution seems to be Pat's weld-on option. I'm going to cut off the ends of the draft links and replace them with these:

I tightened them but they still managed to turn some. Maybe I dont have the U bolt tight enough? I’m going to play with that some more before I hook up to something again.

You've got me thinking, and I'm seriously considering getting Pat's and getting rid of the iMatch. It's always annoyed me that Deere sold me a quick hitch that requires those stupid bushings and I like the idea of getting rid of the extra hardware on the back.

I was using the Land Pride model that dont require bushings and was still glad to get rid of it.

Wish I'd seen these before I ordered my bolt ons... the bolt ons work great but just aren't aesthetic and I had to get creative for a new top link (I have a 445 with a Ruegg 3ph and a short cat 0-1 top link. Pats QH ends made it normal cat 1 length but the tractor side wasn't wide or large enough of a pin for a cat1 top link).
Been using Pats since they came out.
Too many attachments that are not QH compatible.
We’ve been using the Pat’s system for the last year and it works fantastic for us. We recently had a casting failure with one of their components, and their customer support was exemplary. Pat’s has our vote.

Pat's customer service is the best on the planet. Golly, I wonder if that has anything to do with their success?

Gonna hang with my quick hitch. I agree it was stupid that they all have cat3 size hooks but the cost to add standard upsize bushings to all my implements was minimal. It was a one and done thing.

Making all my implements QH compatible was a larger task but was also a one and done thing.

I leave the mower adapter on and just flop it forward when not in use.

I'm on the skinny side so hooking up the pto isn't too bad for me.
