I would like to change out the 45 degree grease zerk to a 90 degree on the mower end u joint, but cannot find the size in the manual. Does anyone know?

At our jd dealer.....
Right at the counter......Assortment of grease fittings pre packaged.....All the angled ones and everything else.
There are 2
One is metric
the other american
I bought mine a few years ago.....maybe 10$ a pack then..I think less.
Its likely 15$ + but at the price of gas/diesel....Grab one of each and your all set
