Versa Turf

The 26x12.00-12 and 12-16.5 Versa Turfs are made in TN. The fronts are made in a Carlisle plant in China.

Sorry, that is simply not true. Most companies, but John Deere in particular, have global quality standards that their suppliers must meet regardless of where they are located. They have requirements in place to ensure that their quality processes are followed and specifications met. I have first hand experience in this area as a supplier to John Deere and many other OEM's. When you quote an item you have to meet the specification regardless of manufacturing location.

For many years we supplied an item to John Deere that we made in both our US and our Chinese plants. Both plants were approved and we would supply interchangeably from both plants as plant capacity was optimized. Due to all the quality processes in place, the parts were absolutely the same.
