Hey everyone! Im new to the forum and a new JD owner, well almost. I ordered a 1023e with the 60d mmm and h120 loader. The dealer seems to think its only going to be about a week til they can deliver it. What a long week this is going to be! The tractor is at the dealer now and they are waiting for the loader and mower to come in. Before I pulled the trigger on the 1023, I was also looking at the Kubotas as well. I drove both and I really didnt like the foot controls on the Kubota. Plus, the I liked the fact that the 1023s loader can pick up almost twice as much weight. Anyway, cant wait for this thing to get here.

Congrats on your purchase, i picked up my 1026r today. Dealer still didnt have deck and a few other attachments but I couldn't wait any longer to try it out.

I've noticed that many people on this site went with the 1026r. I almost got the 26 insted of the 23, but I think the 23 is more then enough for me. I've got a little less power, which I probably wont notice. Id rather work in the daylight, but if I need more lights I can install some of my own. Cruise control...I dont have that now so I can deal with it. But the seat...I really wanted the seat the comes on the 26. I even asked the dealer if that was an option on the 23, aparently not. I'll live though. This tractor is already much more confortable then the garden tractor I currently use.

Anyway, no word yet on when all my parts will be in. Im getting very anxious. Hopefully I will have my new tractor before thanksgiving.

Congrats on your 23. I have been waiting for my X748SE since Oct 17. The wait has given me time to add to my order. Tomorrow I will add a 54 Blade to the order and the rear PTO.

Ok, we are getting close. I feel like I ordered this thing about 6 months ago. The mower and the loader are in. So far they have put fluid in the rear tires but im still waiting for the attachments to be set up. I thought maybe I would have a tractor today, but the dealer is only open 2 more hours...loosing hope. Maybe tomorrow.
