I know I've bought gears for my 49 Single Stage that's on a 318! Maybe the gear-box housing is unavailable without all the 'guts & bearings'. We've got some small tractor repair places around. I'd be happy to nose around for a used one if you have more details. Model #, and where your located, if you'd like me to look around.............Welcome to GTT! ~Scotty

The snow blower i have is off of a 425 jd. it is a 2 stage unit. the gear case is a newer model with last 5 digits in the 72000 serial #.i am the only parts i need are the housing and the cover plate. thank you for your help.
