I have a new 2018 2025R that I have had about a month. As I am using it around a lot of trees and brush I thought that a guard kit for the warning lights would be a wise investment. Picked up the BLV10400 Guard kit at my Deere dealer today. Looked like a very simple install. Remove cap screws, place warning light assembly inside the guard, line up holes and replace the cap screws just removed. Except the cap screws are short. One turn of the wrench and they were out. Only about 4 threads on the tip of the screw are engaging the treaded insert in the light. Put thickness of the guard between light and threaded insert and maybe 2 threads are going to engage. Cap screws are 65MM long and need to be at least 70MM and preferably 75MM long. No screws are included and instructions state cap screws removed are to be reused. Have to wonder if there was a shortage of longer bolts on the assembly line and they used what they had on hand. Going to call dealer in the morning and see what they say. Probably end up going to Fastenal to get longer cap screws.
