I am going to place an order for the hydraulics and controls to put the EA root grapple on my 4400.
I am pretty close on everything but the fittings on the existing SCV. metric ring boss to oring flat face I believe. But I don't know the size.
I think I need Metric O-ring boss to JIC
I want to go to JIC and mount the diverter under the floorboard because I will use this for the snowblower also so I don't want to mount on loader frame.
I thought I seen this here somewhere I looked hard but can't find it.
Thanks in advance.

Ross, I'm not familiar with the 4400 and have no idea of how you're going to pipe this BUT!

I looked in the JD Parts on-line, found the 4400 and the dual SCV. It called out four fittings coming out of the SCV and then 1/2" tubing going to 4 quick disconnects. The fittings spec'd out where 38H5003 and say an 18mm thread ORFS. A search for "metric to jic fittings" on-line produced many results. I checked only one and found and 18mm x 3/8", 1/2", & 5/8". You're next step is to determine what size hose you're going to use, if you haven't already, and get the appropriate adapter for your hose(s).

If you'd like to verify the fitting before buying JIC replacements, loosen the tubing and then back the fitting out. You should be able to get a pair of calipers in there and you looking for about 0.708 (18mm) on the OD of the thread. Hope this helps, Bob

Do you have the 3rd SCV already? If not, the valve already has an extra spool-just no cable or lever to control it. I thought the ports where standard ORB, -06 or -08.

Ross, Reading Kenny's post, perhaps I chose the wrong tractor, or wrong valve, or wrong something! Thinking now, measuring an existing fitting is even more important.

-06 would be a 9/16-18 thread (0.562)

-08 would be a 3/4-16 thread (0.750)

Not sure how the 4400 compares to a 4310 but I read on another forum the ports on the 3rd spool of a 4310 were 18mm x 1.5 and the ports on the power beyond were 22mm x 1.5.

If you look at the valve, you can see there are three spools, only two are for the loader, the 3rd just sits there unused unless you have the rear 3rd SCV kit that adds the hardlines, hardware, couplers, and handle/cable to control it.

So what ports are we talking about?

Thanks for the help.
I will remove one and find out.
I am using the 3rd spool already and I wanted to put the control for the grapple on the joystick.
I would like to order another diverter install it on the back to add another function to the rear with a button on the stick for the 3rd valve.
I thought I read somewhere that they were 18X1.5mm o-ring boss.
After reading this I might have read it in a home brew power beyond.

I will let you know how I make out.

FYI 8 weeks out for a EA root grapple :-(

That's from JD parts?
So sorry, I could have done that.
Thanks so much.

Yes you're correct it's spec's that JD shows for fitting with part # 38H5003. I guess I didn't understand your original question.
