What are these elec connectors for? (And can I commandeer one of 'em for something else?)

I've got a 1999 JD 4100 I recently inherited from my stepfather. These 2 un-used plug hook-ups are just hanging off the back of my tractor.

1) What are they for?
2) I'd like to tie into one of them to wire up a 12v power plug to run an auxilary LED lightbar for when I plow snow, work or drive along the road, (especially in low light) etc. Any issues you folks can foresee tying into one of them??

Any advice appreciated. Thanks in advance!

They are for work lights that are switched in the lighting circuit (your head light switch) . Use a a test light to confirm.
