I believe the 370B is the only backhoe setup to fit the 3E tractors.
I don't know about the 3038e specifically but the 2016 (I believe) and older 3E tractors are not backhoe compatible.I am looking for a tractor and the 3038e is great size for me I think!!! I have quite a rugged 3 acre bush lot with a lot of rock to dig up and rearrange for the wife or remove for me. It is so confusing with so many #'s and letters. Why is there no backhoe listed for the 3038e in the JD description is beyond me. As is here the 370B will do the trick but how is it that no others fit. I do not want to go buy a hoe and haul it home to find out it won't fit. If there are any other options please let me know. Thank you for any help.
I've never had a tractor before and I am so confused with so many models and why would they make a tractor that does not accept a backhoe attachment just has me confused even more. So if backhoe is not on the spec sheet I guess I should let it go.Thanks for your help.I don't know about the 3038e specifically but the 2016 (I believe) and older 3E tractors are not backhoe compatible.
What year is the 3038e? When the 3E series came out they were a really bare bones kinda tractor but they've added some features since then, like the ability to run the pto when out of the seat and the availability of adding a sub frame mounted backhoe.I've never had a tractor before and I am so confused with so many models and why would they make a tractor that does not accept a backhoe attachment just has me confused even more. Are you looking at new or used tractors?I haven't purchased a tractor yet. I see so many smaller ones such as 1025R's and BX23S's that might be ok but I have pretty rough terrain with lots of rocks to remove and do not want to have to buy another tractor because I cheaped out on the 1st one.
