I haven't done much with my 1026R lately, as there is no snow. So I have been just admiring it every time I am in the garage! Glad you are able to be using yours, thanks for the pics starkeyb!:good2:
I live in Lake Effect Snow country and have blown out the driveway with a lot less than 6". And right now in fact, I would take any seat time I could get!:boring:Blew out the driveway. granted there was only 6" of snow, but it was still fun.
Looks good! And I thought the septic work we had done and the ditch cleaning the township did made a mess!Did some grading with the 2305 and york rake, fixing the mess i made last weekend digging up my outdoor wood boiler's underground pipes. Next up topsoil.
Adam, I have a pic of my 1026R with the same beard. I am also a NYer, just south of Buffalo. Hogging is one of my fave jobs with my machine. I got mine done earlier this year, so instead of the goldenrod pollen beard, I had a beard of seed from the various tall grasses. I would love to hit my field one more time before the dreaded snow, but have other projects/chores to do so.....Thanks for the picSpent some time brush hogging today, getting a job finished up before the winter. Sure was cold in Upstate NY today, even the tractor decided to grow a beard...

I inherited a lovely $500 yearly bond payment for the municipal water line on our property taxes when we bought our place. It will be paid in full in 2022 (we were told 2012 when we bought, ahhhhhh what's 10 years right?). We still use our well, it's phenomenal water. Glad your 1 series machine could be of service. My neighbor finally connected to the new water and sewer lines that the village ran past our homes (for the low, low price of $16,700.00 per homeowner) 10 years ago. Didn't matter if you connected or not, you still had to pay. Anyway, he borrowed my 1025 (and a couple tons of stone from the pile I keep laying around) because it was the only thing that would fit between the two separate trenches (one for water and one for sewer) and the trenches and the house, to effectively lay stone where it was needed to support and level the sewer pipe. I didn't get any pictures due to the timing and schedule constraints of the season. His father said they had a blast operating it. I'm just glad somebody is getting some seat time.
Glad you aren't getting hammered Phil. We got it pretty good between 11am and 1pm, sunny now. I am home today so heading back out now to clean up the driveway for Mrs. CP and the kids. Stay warm! That is a sweet setup CP. I also got some seat time the last couple days. So far today we have about 6". Winds are 30 mph and it's 20 degrees.
Not going out till later. Snow band only hit us for about an hour. Supposed to come back later.
Phil
