Had some help from the youngest preparing the shooting lane from my hunting blind.

He helped me mow down a low spot for spreading corn, beets, apples, etc. then watched as I moved a large log into position then helped me feed the critters.

Caught these pics on the game camera.
From the looks of the padding on the rops you must belong to the bumping the head into the rops club. :thumbup1gif::nunu:

only a suggestion, it's your choice. I would think if your tractor will not go over a 4" block of wood then there is something wrong with that tractor.
According to the shadow in the pic plus the close up pic, if a person drives over that maybe they shouldn't be driving a tractor. Just say'en...:greentractorride:

I didn't do much with the tractor. Just drove it off of the mower deck and hooked it back up. But I did clean the deck, greased it, sharpened the blades and made sure the blades were level. Pics? Yah I got some.

Put back together with sharpen blades. So I did do something today. :thumbup1gif::laugh::lol::morning2: Now it's coffee time. :good2: By the way it takes a 15/16th to take the blades off. American size NOT metric. Can you believe it???

Actually it is metric--24MM, just happens that a 15/16" is the same as 24MM
You just had to bust my bubble. I didn't know any metric were the same size as American. 15/16th fit just right so I got to thinking, "hey American, great". Oh well...:empathy:

You'll have to look under "Christmas in October" in Ken's Bolt on Grab Hooks forum.
Didn't do anything with my Deere today, not going to do anything with it today. Taking the day off.
Grandson and I did some chipping. 4 big piles of limbs. Have 2 more to go, even bigger piles. Then he had to go home so I went and moved all the chips, 3 piles of it, with the FEL to the mulch pile. It still amazes me how good the PTO driven DR chipper does chipping 4½" limbs. And the 1026 never misses a beat. My body feels the beating it's takes. And no FG I don't need any Advil. Shouldn't have picked on you this morning but then I'm NOT 29. :flag_of_truce:

Well we finally got the tire reseated on the 4110. It finally warmed up enough :p so I went out and cleaned a little of the trail up. Probably work on that more tomorrow.

Question. The rear tires were loaded. The unseated tire obviously lost most of it's water. Should we reload that tire or just unload the other one? It doesn't snow often around here but the driveway will have to be plowed when it does. Oh and we will be ripping up the ground for next years garden before it freezes this winter.
I'd load it back up but not with water.
Pulling a dump truck out?! Job well done Mr. Moose.:thumbup1gif:

I pulled the John Deere out of the heated garage stall and parked it outside and performed a ceremonial "Snow Dance" to bring on the white stuff. Ready to play with the blade and blower(s).

The tractor is actually far better at dancing than I am so we will have to see what happens next......:thumbup1gif:.

The tractor said something about how it wanted to audition for "Dancing with the Stars" or something like that but I had no idea what it was talking about.
We need a video.

Well I used my tractor/FEL to smash my thumb. The spring loaded clamps that hold the FEL in place are touchy. Lesson learned. From now on they will be put in the down position right after it gets unhooked as I did this while hooking up. It moved on me so I was moving it into place when it bit me. :nunu: That hurt!! No there is no pic. If I had a camera with me it would be toast now. I did get a lot of mulch moved to the mulch pile. Then I got rained on. :rain:

Oh man - I know that must have hurt! Those things sure have some pressure. I learned by accident just this past summer that you can mount the loader with the clamps in the down position - they will just slide up over the posts.

I now have to get off the tractor and use 2 hands to lift the clamps to remove it.
I knew you could do it as I seen it done on YouTube. I just never did. Will from now on though. :thumbup1gif:

Sorry to here that. If that were me, I would have been talking to myself in a very unpleasant, loud kind of way.
I did! Had to go back to the manual and reread as I some how missed what others were talking about. Seen it now, know better, all is good. Thanks for the heads up people. :thumbup1gif:
Aw, I got beat to the RTFM post. :) oh well... Also from the manual.

Detach H120 Loader

9. Retract bucket cylinders until latches (A) automatically return to locked (down) position.

10. CAUTION: Avoid injury from latch closure. Make sure latches are closed before leaving loader unattended.
Need to try this. Never lifted the bucket that far unhooking. Thanks, you too Gizmo2!! :thumbup1gif:

What did I do with my SCUT today? Seeing as I spent most of the day at the VA, not much. But I did something, not a pleasant thing either. I came home and buried my dog Shadow. I had to put him down late last night and didn't have time to bury him so that is what I did today. Used the FEL to dig the hole and laid him to rest. It's NEVER gotten easier to do this. He was 14 years old and in very sad shape and not getting better. Have one left and after she is gone I don't think we'll have any more. It's hard on the one we have left too. She knows he's gone. I've never had to use my tractor to dig a hole to bury anything, let alone a pet. Always thought I should do it by hand out of respect but I had to get it done as time was running out on me again today. Shadow always liked it on top of the hill so that is where he will remain. Hope you all had a good day.

Truly sorry for your loss Levi, it's not a task anyone wants to perform for a pet that has loved them for those many years.
Other than that, all I did with my Deere today was crank her up in the shop, let her come up to operating temp, went through the motions of raising and lowering the drawbars a few times, and shut her down and hooked up the trickle charger to her.
Thanks Bill, I needed that. You made me laugh!
