You will find you need the tilt cylinders too. You won't be able to keep loads level without them when they get heavy. The tilt cylinders already can't tilt what it lifts stock. The Hydros Plus tilt cylinders fixed that on mine.

and I would have ordered those as well but they are out of stock.

When the sun is at the right angle, its hard not to stop and admire.

This is my second cut of 2023.

60" with Mulch kit, 5 x 42lb suitcase weights on the front with the 3PT roller on the rear slightly lifted.
My neighbour is a buddy of mine, he hates the peer pressure from his wife when I do this lol. All in good fun out in the country !

Tested out my new job pole I fab’d up this evening. I have to set trusses in my new barn, trusses weigh 158#. As you see, I tested 168# and it was successful. It should reach just over 13’ in the air at the top. I might have to get a little creative on my rigging, I need 13’ exactly, but I’m confident it should get it.

I have wondered about this very thing. I have needed more height than my bucket or forks allow and have an old 3 point pole that needs some work that I could probably convert to doing something similar to this to get the added height that I need. Looks good. excited to see it working for its intended purpose.

My fiance always made fun of me because at our last house, when one neighbor went out to mow, the other 2 of us were mowing that day as well. My yard there was always the worst looking of the bunch but both neighbors were retired and had nothing else to do. Now at our current house, after buying the zero turn, she looked at me the other day and said wow you really do have this lawn looking nice. That mower does make a difference. I dont have a striping kit (yet). But my neighbor used to have the best looking lawn in the neighborhood. My lawn doesn't look as luscious as yours but its mostly weed/dandelion free. Last time I looked at his, it was filled with dandelions.

Looks nice !!! Finally dry enough to cut mine yesterday (almost !) and it looks like I might need to bail it !
Last year we had an issue with the weather that didn't allow me to mow for a couple weeks and when I finished up I asked my neighbor if I could borrow his bailer. He laughed. I wasn't kidding haha.

Got the place ready for the weekend. The pool is not opened up yet.
I’ve already started mowing at a higher height because of the lack of rain. The grass may be brown in a month if it doesn’t.

Used the 1025 to lift Shagbark Hickory logs to cut up for firewood 🪵
It makes a dandy “sawbuck” 👍

Sneak peak of my pole barn, but the jib pole worked just fine. I’ll add something that would prevent it from coming back on the driver, that’s a little hard to judge from the seat. Overall pretty thrilled with it.

Hummm......that rig looks like it might make a good fishing pole. You could rig it up so when you bring the boom back then fast forward it would toss the bait out there. Yee ha...after a few beers i could get it to work.

I need another pole barn. The one I have now is made with old telephone poles but its to small. Did the truss company help with the design?

They helped with it, but in the end I pretty much just gave them a materials list to quote. I’ve been figuring out a lot as a go a long, just taking my time. So far it’s all been very rewarding

That's about like i would end up doing. Looks like your doing a good job. Did you do the concrete yourself as well?

No, I hired out the pad and concrete. I’ll handle all the rest myself. I don’t have easy access to the location where I’m building, the barn is mainly for show pigs, so I wanted to tear up the yard once and be done. Not have it like a washboard for the year of me taxing material in.

I just used some material had kicking around from past projects, so you can make adjustments. It’s not engineered at all, use at your own risk. I didn’t take any in process pics, so I hope I can discribe it enough for you.

It’s a 10’ long piece of 3”x1/4” flat stock with a 1-1/2”x 3/16” angle iron stitch welded along the top side for lateral support.

The section in the bucket is 1-1/2” x 3/16” square tubing and angle iron, nothing to special, just dimensions that fit the pieces i had available.

Last piece is a “hook” about 7’ out that I loop the chain around and back to my KBOH.

I wanted to have apple that would work with the bucket, it’s a lot lighter than the forks.

Great that you are volunteering to do the spraying at the cemetery, but... uou and/or the board needs to see if you need to take some chemical applicator training to spray on public property. I know that our Township Road &Service guys are required by law to take continuing education classes every year in order to spray weeds along the road. Our Township cemetery guys are required to do the same.

I believe that this is an EPA requirement so I don't want to see you get yourself into big trouble when you're trying to do a good deed for the community.
@mark02tj

After some investigation it appears that you do have to have an applicator’s license in Minnesota, but, only if you apply pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers for “Hire”, I’m not for hire!

Your local Township Road Service guys you speak of that need continuing education, that’s because they are being compensated for their efforts, to my understanding.

Thanks for the heads up, I appreciate it.

Used the 1025R to move my trailer from it's concrete pad in the backyard, to the driveway out front. I'm preparing to pressure wash and seal the trailer pad. Then I used the forks to put my core aerator on the top shelf of one of my storage racks. Since I had the forks mounted, I moved a few pallets around. No pictures, but I guarantee it happened.

I used the tractor to water the Christmas trees I planted this spring. We had some rainshowers moving through but they kept going around us so I decided to water despite the rain.

All was good until halfway through and a down burst opened up right overhead and dropped 3/4" of rain in ten minutes. I ended up taking shelter under the bucket.

The rain was good to get after a dry week, and each baby tree also got at least 3 gal from water I brought out. Here’s a pic of a similar down burst a few minutes later.

Oh, and when it rains flip the seat forward.

Sincerely,
Mr. Soggy Bottom
