I just hooked up the battery tender since I think its been a month since I have turned the key.....
A month?:gaah: I would go through withdrawals:crazy:
Moved snow today. Third time so far this winter.
Had some spring temps today so I dug out a pistol range on the back woods. I tapered the 30' run down 3' and tapered the side walls to add to the backstop pile and berms. Built a target frame and with the extra 2X4s made a shelf on a tree for ammo, reloading, etc. Got the 1026R nice and dirty in the process, but of course pressure washed her off before bedtime.

Sawdust, how did you like your rear blower?

Rear blower worked fantastic. There was a layer of ice with a few inches of snow on top and not having the skid shoes on allowed we to nicely scrap the driveway and get most of it up.

when through a 3 foot high bank that was pushed up from the neighbours plow and had frozen.

The high back seat makes the manual chute rotation a little tricky. (set of the safety twice by leaving the seat) have to look into adding hydraulic for next year.

Hydraulic deflector was a life saver today with the high winds.

My driveway is not very long, so with the FEL on I had to be very careful not to hit anything. Might get the front weights for next year and leave it off.

All in all very happy. I would have loved to have gotten the front mount blower, but in Canada I paid $2000 for the rear mount, where the front mount setup was going to run me almost $5000. little too much to spend this time around.

Gizmo2, you are an ass :mocking: Sorry guys for taking so long but one has to work and the sun goes down early. The rain has settled the berm down and I am ready to top it off for the first time. The stakes in the ground are every 10'. As most know, defense pistol is close work 3' to 10' so there is no need for a long run. The blinker was a gift (I know it's in the ground backwards) and will be used at least 40'. I plan on lowering the target frame cross bars also, no need to send a stray over the top.

ME?? Kenny or Randy, are either of you spreading rumors again?

DE dirt, Hey, the range looks good from where I sit.
My daughter has recently acquired her full carry pistol permit and I was contemplating building her a small range and then maybe go for a pistol permit myself and then this post showed up.

Sorry, I don't think you need our help. Your reputation precedes you.
Haven't started my Deere in a few weeks (L118) and sold my Yanmar last weekend. I must be crazy, sold my tractor before snow comes. :unknown: But it is all part of upgrading, my goal is to sell my last few things (lawn tractors and some attachments) and i should have enough to get a machine that will suit my needs better. Here is a hint of what i'm thinking of getting, a skid steer. :thumbup1gif:
Finally got to get the tractor out. Its been sitting for a couple weeks. Its was nice today so I went out and moved some dirt.
Had a little snow fall (4" to 6") and a bit of drifting so ...... seat time!!!! Started the tractor without having it plugged in for a while. It does not like the cold.
It was 60 degrees here in RI so I backbladed the ruts in my Clayway!
