We just finished up the farm purchases, THANK GOD! But, I am still looking for an affordable 2-3 row planter.:thumbup1gif:

Brian, I just got in a "affordable" 2 row planter at $495. It is not the prettiest, however it will plant corn with the best of them. It is a "Blackhawk" Ken
I will buy a Deere 647 tiller early spring, and may add a shrub auger to my PA30. I won't know about the snow equipment, I will build the snow push but the other stuff I am not sure about yet.

I really need to use what I have.

Hmmm, You threw me for a loop with the word "NEEDS"..

Seriously though, I'm contemplating ditching my Box Blade and getting a Land Plane...probably the Land Pride GS1572.
Other implements I'm on the lookout for, not so much because I need them, but I just want one for a project or so..
-Deere 71 Planter Unit
-Any 2/3 Bottom Trailer Plows

The 71 Planter would be nice to find sooner rather then later because it would make a perfect winter basement project...
Yea know come to think of it I really don't have any plans for adding attachments. Now that's a new one. Last one was add 4 months ago, box blade.

If you build the landplane yourself you can build a better one for about half the price of the ones you see. An 8' landplane with reversible cutting edges, 950 lbs including blades and hardware, material cost about $800+tax.

Trust me, I've thought about it...not that I cant build it. I've just got to learn my limits on how much I can chew for projects at once...LOL..On my list:
-Convert/Modify Sovema Tiller to iMatch Compatibility.
-Rebuild/Restore/Etc Little Genius Plow
-Build my "Super Subsoiler"...had all the parts Plasma-CAM'ed out in april...

We were blessed with a baby in July...so since July, my project time has been slashed by a factor of 50x, LOL...I have just enough time to keep things floating!
Dave,
When I built mine I did alot of guessing and used steel I had on hand for the most part.

If I were to do it again picking out the proper steel from scratch the build time would be greatly reduced. Just something to think about. This is a simple build.
I know from your other builds this would be an easy one for you.

True, the builds are usually simple, it is the engineering that takes the time on most projects. That's if you want it done well.
Im not sure yet although i would love to have a 1 bottom plow, a disk, a finish mower, and a hydraulic top link. :D
I'm getting an 8ft, 3pt AerWay pasture renovator.... think I might rent it out too.

I don't think I need anything else...... I'd like an overseeder, but certainly can't justify it for 15 acres, unless I rent that out too.

Would a Ferguson Combination Aerator/Overseeder be a possibility? $3856 pull type or $4163 with 3 point for the 8 ft model. Ken Sweet

I've been watching your stuff Ken, great deals. What's your geuss on shipping to Canada for a standard 72" implement?? Postal S4L 5B1.

I've already paid for my AerWay, but there may be other needs in future.

Thanks,

-Jeremy.

Today the 6 ft would be $2746 + $210 shipping to a business, if the buyer can handle the customs and broker part of it? Ken Sweet

I have a broker, that's no problem.

Ken,
I can't see the spec sheet on my computer I can get the upper thumbnail with the picture to load.

I assume the spike roller drives the seed unit? Does the spike roller cover the seed? I am looking for something to plant fescue over a prepared seedbed and for overseeding as well.
Ken, can the seedbox be ordered seperately?
I built my PR to eventually take a seeder attachment...whether I make or buy one is the question..

Yes, the spike roller drives the seedbox and puts in the seed. Here is a link to the Company website. Ken Sweet
