I have a 170 for by 20 or so, bank along my creek that I would like to smooth out. It has been mowed. It is thick grass/weeds. Mainly. It is quite lumpy and bumpy. Would a box blade be the tool of choice? I have a1025r tractor.
Ok, I went and bought the BB 2048l box blade. What a great piece of equipment! It pulled up the grass and weeds, leveled out all the lumps and bumps. I worked at it about 3 hours tonight. I am really happy with the results. I’ll throw some grass seed on it tomorrow or Saturday. I will end up mowing this area later with the 47 in rotary cutter. It doesn’t have to be perfect, I just wanted it smoother so it doesn’t beat me up. It’s all along my creek out back. I call it the back forty! It’s pretty wild back there.
