Hi all,
New member here and first post. I love the site and it has really helped me narrow down my choices for selecting a new tractor. I think the 1026r will do everything that I need to do around my house to include mowing, tilling, brush cutting, light digging and general outdoors maintenance. I stopped by my local dealer and tried to find out info on the available implements for the 1026r. He didn't seem to have any as he just got their first 1026r on the lot this week. The current implements catalogue only list items for the 2000 series and above. I don't want to sit down and crunch numbers with a salesman without knowing what implemenst I'll be interested in. I hate going into any situation only half informed. Does anyone know of a website or publication that lists the available inplements? I called the John Deere Tech folks and they referred me back to my dealer (no help at all). To make my point a little more clear, my dealer didn't even know the 1026 could run a backhoe (the 260 if I'm correct). Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and keep the pics coming! Mt wife says I'm addicted to tractor sites and refers to it as tractor porn!..lol:laugh:

Haven't seen a 1026R specific catalog yet as its probably not out. On the JD site under the 1026R model there's a listing of "compatible equipment" which may help but from what I've seen so far, there's nothing that won't be available either Frontier or other! Had mine for several weeks now and I'm sure there's nothing you'll want thats not available. Its a fantastic machine!!!

Hi hopkinsmw

I have been through the same thinking as you describe, and I have the same wife issue... c",)

I used a lot of time on this before JD updated there pages and manage to fine an Excel sheet I have used as a starting point before adding information I interested in. I don’t promise that there aren’t any errors here but it's a good starting point.

The new One Series

We are sorry to hear your local dealer didn't have sufficient information for you on the One Series sub-compact tractors. These are great new machines. The versatility is outstanding and there are more than 20 attachements for these machines including drive over decks, snow blowers, loaders, backhoes and much more.

Here is a link to Deere's website that has all the attachements and breif descriptions for them. http://www.deere.com/wps/dcom/en_US/products/equipment/tractors/sub_compact_utility_tractors/1_series/1_series.page?

Also, we have units in stock at most of our locations. I have driven them myself and they are very user friendly. The deck was easy to hook up and un hook, same with the backhoe attachement.

I also loaded pictures of them onto our facebook page for you:

Please don't hestiate to ask for more information of availbility of stock. We are happy to help!

Thanks for all the help!

Thanks for all the information. I love the spreadsheet, its exactly what I was hoping for. The dealer is great, don't get me wrong, nice folks and very helpful, just not very experienced with the 1026r yet. I look forward to getting one and hopefully talking the better half into all the goodies I want to go with it. :mocking: We'll see how that goes! Wish me luck!

Mark,
I will be getting my 1026R on Friday. It is coming with the 60" 7Iron drive over deck(NON AutoConnect) and the H120 FEL. I will be putting my 47" front mount Snowblower that I already have on it. I already have a 48" KingKutter Brush hog and a 48" KingKutter II tiller. My uses sound pretty much like yours. For homeowner, non everyday use, I have found the KK attachments to be a well built value and easily found in my neck of the woods at TSC. I was quoted a discounted price of $550 for a Frontier rear blade when I ordered my 1026R. I can buy one at TSC for $299 that would be suitable for my needs. So I would definitely cross shop your attachments whenever possible. Have fun and keep us posted.:thumbup1gif:
