Hello,
I was cutting grass the other day on my new 1023e with 54d mower/mulch kit combo, when I heard a loud "ka-chunk" and this part came flying out from under the deck.

If I were less lazy, I would just disconnect the deck and take a look myself. I suspect I will do that in the near future, but wanted to see if anyone recognizes this part, and might have a word or two of wisdom about what it is and how easy it is to fix before I dive in. It got banged up a little bit due to the blades whacking it. It seems fine, but I hope the resulting dent/bur in the metal doesn't prohibit me from reusing it.

FWIW, the mower still seems to work fine, but I would like to fix it before next time. Thanks for any tips!

Looks like the piece that goes on the front linkage of the Deck to hold the arms up for attaching.

Looks like the spring bracket off of the front lift arm assembly. Item #17:

Call your dealer... that should be covered under warranty.

It is the part and bolt you can bend if attempting to drive over the mower with the loader still on.
