I would like to experiment with adding some hydraulic contraptions to my various implements and attachments for my 425. For example, hydraulic control of the lift lever on a dethatcher or aerator. Hydraulic dump on my trailer. Hydraulic valve operation on my sprayer boom. Things like that. Why? Because why not.

What do you suggest for acquiring hydraulic hoses and with appropriate fittings? Cylinders? Something like the lift or angle cylinder for a quick hitch would probably do the trick for most of this. But I have zero experience with this stuff to even know where to look for it.

There is probably more than "one" style. ORB (o ring boss), ORFS (o ring face seal), NPT (national pipe thread/tapered), and JIC (Joint Industry Council) are the four most common used on tractors.

Grainger sells cylinders as that's where I bought a replacement one for my artillian grapple. You can sources hoses either at your local Parker Store or NAPA.
