I will be landscaping an area with River Stone averaging about 2 inches in stone size. The guy who sells the stone also sells the base fabric. To me it looks like "House Wrap" like the Lowes brand. He says its a quality underlayment fabric that will stand up to the stone. Its almost lkie a cheap "Blue Tarp" fabric. But I think its too expensive for me to use @ around $200 a 100 foot roll.

At the big box store I found a product called Sta Green professional Hardscape fabric. It's a woven cloth type material & fairly heavy. Has a 25 year life warranty. And its only $40 for a 4' x 100' roll. A lot easier on the wallet. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff or suggestions on what I can use for the groundcover fabric. Thanks. :unknown:
