I recently ordered a 2011 JD 5105M with a 563NSL loader with the universal skid-steer plate without a bucket. I have researched several skid steer buckets on-line and like the BERLON buckets the best so far. I also would like to get a removable grapple for hauling brush and tree trunks. I will also be using the bucket for moving sand, gravel, dirt, and snow. I know that two or three separate buckets would work best, but that gets costly and takes up a lot of space. Looking for input from others on what they are using.......
I have a 2011 JD5075M with the 563SL loader and SS and 3rd function SCV. I needed a large capacity bucket for snow, primarily. I have a JD 110TLB with SS loader and attachments - 72" HD bucket, HD root rake/grapple and HD forks. The grapple is a custom model - on par with WR Long - IMO. The remainder of attachments are JD Workpro. Must confess that it was easier and some cost saving's to just bundle the loader bucket, etc. with the new tractor.
That said, the Workpro series is a construction grade attachment. It's "yellow iron" material, construct - not, Ag-iron!
Went with the 85" high-volume bucket without bolt-on edge; although the bucket is pre-drilled.
I've been very pleased with the fit, finish and durability of the Workpro attachments. (I'd really like to know what 3rd party actually manufacture's the attachments for Deere...)
