As noted in signature, I have a 4200. I've avoided loading the rear tires because of concerns about ruts and damage to the lawn. I have the ballast box much heavier than the recommendation. I use the loader for light work and am careful to not overload it. However, I'm leaning towards loading the rear tires. Rim Guard recommends 31 gallons per tire - 332 lbs per tire. The tires are 13.6x16 R3 (Turf pattern).

Question: Will mowing with an additional 650 lbs damage my lawn?

Question: Will it put ruts in my lawn?

As wet as it's been...probably, if it's dry, I would not be concerned. Mine are filled with windshield washer fluid, and I have about 30 gallons ( I bought two 55 gallon drums ) left I'll make you a deal on if you want it.
