Question about Woods finish mowers.

What's the defiance in a RD7200 and a PRD7200.
RD ( rear discharge )
PRD ( Premier rear discharge )
7200 = 72"

Is the PRD just a rename for the RD? Or is there a up grade some were that I can't find out.:dunno:

The Woods website has complete manuals and specifications for each mower. Below are the quick specs on the RD72 and PRD7200

Thank you for your help. But I know the difference between the RD72 and a PRD7200
The RD72 is the next grade lower that a PRD7200 and it has a 3 year gear box warranty vs a six year warranty on the PRD7200

What I need to know what's the difference between the RD7200 vs the PRD7200.

The RD7200 I can buy used but if there enough change in the new PRD7200 I will buy new instead of used.

The warranty on the gear box is nothing more than a selling point in my opinion. The GB is a pretty tough hunk of metal protected by sheer pins.
My woods has been a great piece of equipment the last 23 years and still going strong.

Ok I found out what was the difference. RD7200 was up graded with a heaver frame by all most 100 lbs. The gear in the gear box now run the blades at 18,000 rpm tip speed vs 16,000 to help pull up the grass that the tractor runs over for a better cut. The wheel are on box tube that again help with the deck to stay more stable and a better cut.
