Help anyone, my JD X300 was working fine and then the belt came off. I refitted it exactly as the diagram on the deck. I started it up, pulled up the PTO button but the main pulley does not rotate/engage hence the blades don't turn. Pulling up the PTO button doesn't engage the pulley. is there a re-set button or is it more major.

What was the cause of the belt to come off? Did it happen while you were mowing? If so my guess would be the electric blade clutch...:unknown: I'm sure someone will be along with more possibilities. Good luck.:drinks:

Just a WAG :unknown:, as I'm not familiar with your X300, but can you test the clutch? Assuming it's an electric clutch, did the belt coming off knock the connector/wires loose/off?

Good luck.
