I would think you would be fine towing that around with a x580. Is no heavier than a full yard cart.

I have no problems pulling/working tillers up hill, or pulling a cart with 1500lbs of oak in it up very steep hills with my X580. Let the brush hog do the work and you'll be just fine.

I have no problem pulling my 920 lb. lawn roller with my X500 and our property is very hilly.

None so far. I am careful not to go down any REAL steep hills or areas that would likely get me in trouble. On some of the lesser slopes when I make a turn at the bottom the weight of the roller will push the rear of the tractor sideways a few inches. This mostly happens when the ground is soft - which is when rolling is most effective.
